-To have an ex there must be an issue .
It is very common even in our days and in the Bible too.

Samson had an ex but didnt get over his ex.

-Love is a beautiful thing 🥰

Irrespective of broken marriages or relationship. Love is beautiful .

God is Love .

Because we are from God we are wired like God because he is love .
We love to love and to be loved.

Love will impact your life .
It will either subtract ,divide or multiply you .

Love will never leave you the same way .

Even in a bad relationship God can still use you to fulfill his agenda .

Not all relationships are meant to end up in marriage.

Going the bitterness way or un-forgiveness way is not the right way.

Until we get to the root of the matter of heart break or Ex we can move forward or learn from our mistakes.

Reasons why we have an EX:

1. Wrong choices (Not necessarily a bad person)
Lack of purpose, lack of vision

2. Wrong reasons- ( physical attractions)
Going into a relationship for what you can get not what you can give .

3) Not all relationships end up in marriage :
Some are there to help you grow
Some prepare you to where you are going.

4)Compromising your values or ethics .

5) Ignoring the Holy Spirit
We call them red flags

6) Ignoring counsel

7) Lack of alignments

8) Character issues

9) Lack of commitment

Heartbreaks or breakups are common

Relationship is about two people not only you .

You need to deal with the baggage of the previous relationships.

Steps to Get over your EX :

1) Acknowledge the pain (psalm 138)

2) Grief is a natural response to loss. There are stages of Grief
- Rude shock

Bargain
⬇️
Depression
⬇️
Acceptance
This cycle is not linear .

3) Don’t live in denial

4) Forgive( you must move on )
Holding on is like holding on to coal .
Ask that the holy spirit helps you H Hebrews 4:15

5) prioritize self care e.g you can start journaling,Cry , see a therapist .

You are not El-shaddai all of us shall die 👌👌

6) Cut-off anything that reminds you of them 💯💯They serve as triggers

7) PIES
P-Physical (Take care of your body, get in shape, Exercise )

I- Intellectual (Read good books ,read the Bible)

E-Emotional life(talk to people,get a mentor )

S-Spirituality (God will not forsake you ,so pay attention to your life )

8) Reframing (see it as good not as bad , learn from it instead.)

In Conclusion,

Take care of your mental health

There is a lot to live for 🥰God loves you and will make you settle for more .
Getting over an EX is possible 🙏
