You will never be “good enough” for the wrong person—not because you lack value, but because they are not meant to recognize it.
Sometimes we spend years trying to prove ourselves to people who were never willing to see us clearly in the first place. We adjust, we sacrifice, we shrink, we over-explain… hoping one day they will finally be satisfied. But the truth is, wrong people will always move the standard. No matter how much you give, it will never be enough for a heart that is not aligned with you.
Stop bleeding for approval that was never meant for you.
God never calls you to fight for a place where you are constantly unvalued. The right people won’t require you to lose yourself to be accepted—they will recognize your worth without you begging for it.
Walk away from what keeps making you feel “not enough,” and step into what reminds you that you are already whole.
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” — John 8:32

When Intimidation Builds a Fence in the Mind: Lessons from 1 Samuel 16–17

Description:
Sometimes the real battle is not physical—it is mental. In the story connected to 1 Samuel 16 and the rise of David before his confrontation with Goliath, we see how God was already preparing a deliverer long before the battlefield.
By the time we reach 1 Samuel 17, Goliath wasn’t just a warrior—he was a voice of intimidation. He stood and spoke fear, building a “fence” in the minds of the children of Israel. That fence was not made of stones, but of words, fear, and repeated threats.
And that’s what intimidation does—it doesn’t need to defeat you physically first. It tries to block your mind, shrink your confidence, and make you forget who God has already anointed you to be.
But David saw differently. While others saw a giant, he saw an uncircumcised challenge against God’s covenant. What others called fear, David called opportunity.
The lesson is simple:
Not every loud voice is authority. Not every giant is power. Sometimes it’s just intimidation trying to build walls in your mind.
Break the fence. See differently. Step forward anyway.
