INVITATION: OBA OLUGBENLE HOLDS 8TH ANNUAL RAMADAN PRAYER AND LECTURE

His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, the Olu of Ilaro, Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, and Chairman, Ogun State Council of Obas, cordially requests your presence at his 2026 Ramadan Prayer and Lectures Programme themed "The Urgency of Repentance: Seeking Forgiveness Before It Is Too Late."

The lecture, featuring Alh. Imam Ibraheem A. Otedola Igbayiola, Chief Imam of Ipokia, as Guest Speaker, is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 14th March 2026, at the Private Palace of the Olu llaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland by 4:00 PM. Your esteemed presence will be highly appreciated.

ROYAL INVITATION TO THE FOUNDATION LAYING CEREMONY OF YEWA OBAS COMPLEX

His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, the Olu of Ilaro, Paramount Ruler of Yewaland and Chairman, Ogun State Council of Obas, cordially invites Royal Fathers, Yewa titled chiefs, and Ogun West APC elders to the Foundation Laying Ceremony of the Proposed Yewa Obas Complex (Yewa Traditional Council Secretariat).

The ceremony holds tomorrow, Tuesday, 27th January 2026, immediately after the first Yewa Traditional Council meeting of the year and Get-together, by 2:00pm at Ilaro-Yewa, Ogun State; and is expected to mark a historic milestone in the institutional strengthening of traditional governance in Yewaland.

The Proposed Yewa Obas Complex is facilitated by Distinguished Senator (Dr.) Aremo Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI), Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District and Aremo of Yewaland.

YEWA TRADITIONAL COUNCIL HOLDS SPECIAL PRAYER SESSION FOR SENATOR YAYI AT 56

Traditional rulers across Yewaland, under the Yewa Traditional Council, alongside some of their counterparts from Remo, Ijebu, and Egba, gathered on Sunday, 10th August 2025, to honour Distinguished Senator (Dr) Aremo Solomon Olamilekan Adeola YAYI, CON, FCA, with special prayer sessions on the occasion of his 56th birthday, at the Yewa Traditional Council Complex and the Private Palace of the Paramount Ruler of Yewaland.

The royal convergence featured an extraordinary triple prayer session, with blessings offered in traditional, Islamic, and Christian forms. These prayers were made in unison for the continued success, protection, and divine guidance of the Distinguished Senator (Dr) Solomon Olamilekan Adeola YAYI.

His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, the Olu Ilaro, Paramount Ruler of Yewaland and Chairman of the Ogun State Council of Obas, emphasised that the gathering was to appreciate the Aremo of Yewaland for all his good works and, most importantly, an opportunity for the royal fathers to offer prayers for his continued blessings, good health, and strength. The visible contributions of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola YAYI in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic empowerment were duly acknowledged and praised. Echoing the sacred tone of the Scripture, “Silver and gold have I none...," the royal fathers offered heartfelt prayers for Senator Adeola.

The 56th birthday celebration of Senator YAYI was more than a commemoration; to many, it was a festival. To Oba Olugbenle, however, it was a day to pray for a distinguished son, in whom he is well pleased. His Majesty once again congratulates Senator YAYI and pledges his continuous royal support for his vision of a new Ogun West.
