That is exactly how Mrs. Fatima Ahmed’s morning started. She received a surprise call from the LEAH Foundation team delivering the best news: she had been selected to receive a brand-new industrial sewing machine!
This beautiful empowerment gift comes courtesy of the incredible benevolence of Her Excellency, Pastor Dr. Omolewa Yetunde Ahmed.
Mrs. Fatima could not hold back her tears of joy as she showered endless prayers and thanks on "Mummy Omolewa" for her deep act of kindness, love, and unwavering commitment to lifting women up.

Meet the amazing Mrs. Fashola, one of our own at LEAH Foundation. She shared with us that her journey into nursing was sparked by her mom’s motivation. A seed planted years ago that has grown into a life of service.
For Mrs. Fashola, nursing isn’t just a career; it’s where she finds her peace. She told us that even in her own lowest moments, seeing a patient get the help they need brings her a sense of total fulfillment. It’s that "LEAH spirit" in action!
Mrs. Fashola also wanted to take a moment to look at her colleagues everywhere and say: "Keep going. Your work matters." She’s sending out a massive shout-out and encouragement to every nurse out there today.

Today, we are taking a massive moment to celebrate the real-life superheroes in scrubs our incredible nurses.
They are the heartbeat of everything we do here at LEAH Foundation. From the gentle hands guiding a new mother in our maternity classes to the patient smiles during our prostate cancer screenings, our nurses are the ones who turn "medical care" into true healing.
Whether they are working long shifts, offering a word of comfort, or advocating for every patient’s health, they do it all with so much heart and dedication. We see your sacrifices, and we appreciate your strength!
