Today was another defining moment for the Peoples Democratic Party under the renewed leadership of its National Chairman, H.E Kabiru Tanimu Turaki SAN, as key party stakeholders reaffirmed their loyalty, unity, and confidence in the new direction of the party.

1️⃣ State Chairmen Declare Total Support

PDP State Chairmen from across the federation met at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja, and unanimously expressed their full support for the Turaki-led National Working Committee.
Speaking on behalf of the forum, Dr. Tony Aziegbemi praised the NWC’s commitment to internal democracy and party rebuilding, declaring:
“We are solidly behind the Turaki-led PDP NWC.”

The Chairmen pledged loyalty, unity, and cooperation as the party prepares for future elections.

2️⃣ Engagement With PDP National Assembly

In a strategic engagement with PDP Senators and House of Representatives Members, the lawmakers assured their complete support to Turaki and the entire NWC.
They pledged cooperation, discipline, and unity as the party undergoes restructuring and prepares for future electoral battles.

This marks a significant alignment between party leadership and legislative representatives.

3️⃣ Certificate of Return Presented to Ekiti Governorship Candidate

The National Chairman also formally presented the Certificate of Return to Dr. Wole Oluyede, the PDP Gubernatorial Candidate for the June 2026 Ekiti Governorship Election.
Turaki urged party members to close ranks ahead of the election, emphasizing that victory is within reach.
Dr. Oluyede thanked members for their resilience and pledged total commitment to leading the party to triumph.

4️⃣ Interactive Meeting With PDP Ex-Officio Members

The NWC held another session with PDP Ex-Officio members, focusing on party strengthening, unity, and internal stability.
The meeting underscored the importance of collective responsibility in rebuilding the party’s structures nationwide.
