The Orange-Fleshed Sweet Potato (OFSP) Food Fair 2026, held at Odilinโs Event Centre in Jos, brought together key stakeholders from agriculture, finance, and development sectors to showcase the powerful role of OFSP in improving nutrition, boosting livelihoods, and strengthening local economies. Through engaging presentations, inspiring farmer testimonies, interactive panel discussions, and exhibitions of value-added products, the event highlighted how innovation in agriculture can drive food security and community resilience. Although the fair has come to an end, its impact continues to inspire stronger partnerships, scalable solutions, and lasting change across Plateau State. JDPC Jos extends heartfelt appreciation to CAFOD for their valuable partnership and commitment to building resilient communities through enhanced food security and self-reliance.

About Us
Justice Development and Peace Caritas (JDPC), registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria with the name: Social Justice and Human Development for Peace Initiative. It is a Non-Governmental, Faith-Based and non-profit organisation of the Catholic Archdiocese of Jos. It is the social arm of the Catholic Church, responsible for social development activities in Jos, Nigeria.
Though the JDPC is an organisation under the Catholic Church, its activities do not benefit just Catholics or Christians. We serve all humanity regardless of religious, political or ethnic affiliation and we are involved in different aspects of human development; Democracy and Good Governance, Peace building and Conflict Transformation, Dialogue and Reconciliation, Early Warning/Emergency Preparedness and Response, Civic Education, Agriculture, Rural Water Supply, Human Rights/Legal Aid, Women Empowerment and Prison Ministry.
We collaborate and network with other Faith-Based and Civil Society Organisations that aim towards the achievement of similar set goals and objectives.
