Egg is a rising agent it takes a true baker to know

I recently experimented with an eggless peanut burger recipe, but the results were a letdown. Without eggs, the coating didn't stick properly, and the peanut didn't rise as I had expected.

I can only assume adding baking powder and adjusting the powder flavour plus milk, will give a close result

I have jejely returned to my original recipe with eggs, and the difference was night and day. The eggs added a richness, texture, and binding properties that made all the difference.

It is also filling - groundnut itself is filling so are eggs, this is a combo bust.
