HOPE IN DIFFICULT TIMES

Romans 15:13 (NKJV), "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

Welcome to the very last Sunday in the month of JUNE 2026: OUR MONTH OF SUPERNATURAL JOY. Today, we are starting a new 3-day mini-devotional series titled: STAY HOPEFUL. No matter how difficult life may look right now, never allow hopelessness to take over your heart. God is still with you, and He is still working behind the scenes.

Many people lose strength because they lose hope. But as believers, our hope is not built on circumstances; our hope is built on God. Psalm 42:11 (NKJV) says, "Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God."

Hope gives strength to continue praying, believing, and expecting good things from God. Difficult seasons are temporary, but God's faithfulness remains constant. Refuse to speak defeat or surrender to despair. Stay hopeful because God is not finished with your story yet.

FURTHER STUDY: Lamentations 3:26 (NKJV), "It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord."

CONFESSION: I BOLDLY CONFESS; MY HOPE IS IN GOD. I WILL NOT BE DISCOURAGED OR AFRAID. GOD IS WORKING ALL THINGS TOGETHER FOR MY GOOD.

ONE YEAR BIBLE PLAN: Acts 13:13-52 | Nehemiah 9-10 | Proverbs 28

FINISH YOUR ASSIGNMENT

2 Timothy 4:7 (NKJV), "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."

Over the past four days, we have learnt so much on this topic: PAY THE PRICE FOR DESTINY. Today, being DAY 5, we would be looking at the last teaching in this devotional series.

God does not only want people to start well; He wants them to finish well also. Many begin with passion and excitement, but few remain faithful until the end. Destiny fulfilment requires endurance, consistency, and commitment.

Paul boldly declared that he had finished his race and kept the faith. This should be the desire of every believer. Your assignment from God is too important to abandon halfway.

John 17:4 (NKJV) says, "I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do." Jesus completed His assignment faithfully, and we are called to follow His example. There will be distractions, opposition, and difficult seasons, but you must remain focused on what God has called you to do.

Do not waste your life on meaningless pursuits. Stay committed to God’s purpose. Keep serving, keep believing, and keep pressing forward until your assignment is complete. May your life bring glory to God from beginning to end.

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 10:36 (NKJV), "For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise."

CONFESSION: I BOLDLY CONFESS; I WILL FINISH MY DIVINE ASSIGNMENT WITH JOY AND FAITHFULNESS.

ONE YEAR BIBLE PLAN: Acts 11:19-30 | Nehemiah 1-3 | Proverbs 25

DISCIPLINE SUSTAINS DESTINY

Proverbs 12:1 (NKJV), "Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid."

Today is DAY 2 in our devotional series: PAY THE PRICE FOR DESTINY. Today's article teaches us that discipline and correction are necessary for growth and lasting success in destiny.

Many people admire greatness, but few are willing to embrace the discipline required to sustain it. Destiny cannot survive on excitement alone. It requires consistency, focus, and self-control.

Hebrews 12:11 (NKJV) says, "Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it." Correction may feel uncomfortable, but it produces maturity and stability. God often uses discipline to shape our character and prepare us for greater responsibilities.

A disciplined person learns to manage time wisely, avoid distractions, and stay committed even when things become difficult. Without discipline, potential can easily be wasted. Do not reject instruction or correction. Embrace growth and allow God to refine your life for destiny fulfilment.

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV), "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."

CONFESSION: I BOLDLY CONFESS; I LIVE A DISCIPLINED AND FOCUSED LIFE. I RECEIVE CORRECTION AND GROW INTO GOD’S PURPOSE FOR ME.

ONE YEAR BIBLE PLAN: Acts 10:1-23 | Ezra 4-6 | Proverbs 22
