The era of Invincible hideouts in Enugu is officially coming to an end.

Governor Peter Mbah has greenlit a massive security overhaul. The Enugu State Forest Guards are not just patrolling anymore; they are undergoing intensive, high-level combat training to wipe out the presence of Unknown Gunmen and bandits from their forests.

By raising the minimum pay to N80,000 and integrating local hunters who know every cave and river, the state is transforming the Forest Guards from a "watchman" group into a professional strike force.

The goal is simple: Secure the forests, protect the farmers, and restore the peace that Ndi-Enugu deserve.
