Project update…..

A brief look the development stage of the webbed sneakers project.

The goal was to assess how the upper will feel with a well padded lining. With extra look at how the intended stitch details on the lateral side of the sneakers will look.

Looking good so far..

Couple of weeks ago, I saw a picture of a caterpillar 🐛 and I immediately thought that would make a good slide concept.

Especially with the grooves, bumps, and tiny bumps that forms the base of the skin. All I was seeing was a slide and nothing else.

I did went ahead with designing a slide concept with the caterpillar 🐛 as the design reference. It was challenging, but it was very fun 🤩..
