May the day dawn when sanitary napkins are universally accessible and free, a beacon of hope for girls and women worldwide. Having witnessed firsthand the struggles in rural areas and having played a part in providing pads to those in need, I firmly believe that making sanitary pads free is not just a noble gesture, but a fundamental necessity. In many underserved communities, girls and women resort to using cloth, toilet paper, and other makeshift materials due to the unaffordability of sanitary pads. Their voices echo in my mind, yearning for this basic necessity to be met without financial burden. The prevalence of diseases and infections stemming from inadequate menstrual hygiene is a stark reminder of the urgency to address this issue. May my heartfelt desire find fulfillment, particularly in this quest for universal menstrual equity.
