Day 31

Focus: Occupy Till He Comes

Read and Meditate On:

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. (NKJV)

Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (NKJV)

Matthew 28:20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. (NKJV)

Mark.16.15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. (NKJV)

Luke 19:12 Therefore He said: "A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return. (NKJV)

Luke19:13 So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, "Do business till I come.' (NKJV)

Exhortation:

Our theme text is taken from the book of Saint Luke 19:12-13NKJV. We saw the Lord Jesus giving a parable of a certain prince who was making a journey to a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return. He then called his ten servants and gave them ten minas, meaning each of them got a mina. He then instructed them to do something with what they had received and that is "to do business with what they had received" and he then left for his country.

What does this means to us today as believers in Christ Jesus? At the ascension of the Master; the Lord Jesus instructed his disciples including us today and every believer of all generations to do business with the gift of the Holy Spirit that should come upon the apostles after He had left.

And they indeed followed these directives He gave and did business with the gift they received on the day of Pentecost. We see in the book of Acts and other Epistles how the apostles did mighty things with the gift of the Holy Ghost they received. Souls were won and taught daily.

We had also been equally given the gift of the Holy Spirit as well to do business of soul winning as we preach the gospel to everyone. He is therefore counting on you and me.

Our life will continually experience effortless progress as we become conscious and act based on this Instructions. Resources needed to keep on advancing in life will keep on gravitating towards you as you live with this conscious.
Therefore win souls till He comes. Hallelujah!

Prayer: Pray and thank Him for the gift of Salvation and the gift of the Holy Spirit. Pray that you are empowered to be faithful in soul winning business in and through your professionalism all the days of your life till the Lord Jesus returns.

Pray for the hunger to keep on Studying to showing yourself approved unto God which would lead to winning of many souls into the kingdom through right teaching in Jesus name.

Pray that you are daily and abundantly supplied with every resources you need to fulfill these mandate without any constraints in the name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.
