Since you had your baby.

You have been very forgetful.

Of things and even of people.

Occasionally someone would see you ,smile and greet .

But it would take a little while for you to place the person.

You keep things and you forget where you did.

You make promises and you forget you did.

Both your big Odogwu and small Odogwu have complained of this severally.

And.
Now you are worried.

Be calming down.

There is a name for what you are going through.

It's called "Mom brain"

It refers to the forgetfulness and brain fog that some mothers experience after the birth of a child.

Whether you call it mom brain, mommy brain, momnesia or baby brain it's all the same.

Several reasons have been advanced but no conclusive one for now.

You could begin by writing down things you want to do.

Make notes of things you regularly forget .

Try and get enough sleep.

Las-las you will be fine.

Importantly...village people are not involved.

WHY YOUR ARMPITS ITCH WHEN BREASTFEEDING?

Dear nursing mothers, I know you've been wondering why your armpits itch when breastfeeding your baby.

Oya be calming down, it's nothing to worry about.

Sometimes it is difficult to scratch because you do not want to distract or disturb your baby or probably because you're in public ( and na that kind scratching dey sweet die chia).

The itching of the armpits is as a result of milk production and also a result of the work done by the glands located near the armpits.
As your baby suckles and milk is drawn out, there is need for the mammary gland to replace the one drawn out by your baby and this comes as an itching sensation in the milk gland located near the armpits

There are milk pockets in the breast and they are linked to the armpits, so when the milk is drawn out by your baby during lactation or breastfeeding, sure replenishing is meant to occur.

So while the body is trying to replenish the drawn out milk, you experience this as itching.

Check next post for some tips that will help relieve itching during breastfeeding.

If I have no reason to thank God and celebrate today then I am an ingrate.
Indeed I have a thousand and one reasons to rejoice for my new age.

When I say that I am happy to be alive today, I am not exaggerating.

I can't contain my joy; it is as though I am dreaming. I fought the fiercest battles of my life last year and didn't imagine seeing another year.
But here I am today celebrating celebrating my birthday.

I love and accept myself the way I am, and I'm proud of my failures, achievements and I'm bold to say that I am the best of my kind.

As I add +1 today, I pray God grant all my heart desires. And as long as the promises of God are valid, I will succeed in all that I do.
My new year which begin today shall be laudable success.
Everything I touch shall prosper.
I shall not lack any good thing because the Lord's favor has located me and so shall it be in Jesus name Amen.

Thank you My OMEIHEUKWU JESUS for everything....your babygirl is grateful.
