We focus and have a target for the new week but reminiscing about the weekend where wedding bells rang.

They said the wedding was beautiful — the decor, the dress, the vows. But let’s be honest… the real magic happened on the plate. (It reminds me of Mama Nkechi' Wednesday night Jollof rice.

That Jollof Rice? It wasn’t cooked. It was composed — like music (the newest Davido's track that was featured by Omalay - With You). Smoky, rich, with just the right kiss of pepper.( I am beginning to have fantasy of what it feels like to have a good kiss in a cool evening by the beach) Each spoonful danced on the tongue like it knew it was the main character. The grains didn’t clump, they glistened. The stew held secrets only a seasoned hand could unlock. You could taste the auntie’s pride in every bite.

And just when the heat hit its peak — boom — the chilled drinks came through. Zobo with a hint of ginger, Fanta so cold it clicked in your teeth, and that glass bottle Coke that somehow tastes better than anything else on earth. It was balanced. It was bliss. It was the kind of meal that makes you close your eyes and nod in respect.

But what gladdened my heart the most was the appraisal I got from a satisfied client who forgot she wasn't the bride as she looked irresistible and elegant. I
