From all of us at D-Aggregate Technologies, we wish you all a happy Easter celebration.

We just launched State/Local Government Public Dataset Repository with access to public project dataset and local government/states allocation dashboard Insight for Nigerians at D-Aggregate Technologies. This was spurred by the recent judgement of the supreme court that granted autonomy to local government councils in Nigeria.

The problems we identify are 2 critical issues;

Average Nigerians do not have hands-on insight into what States and local councils share of allocations are.

Nigerians do not have access to provide constructive feedbacks to their local council authorities.

Our effort is to make this an open-source technology and data repository that help average Nigeria assess the impact of local government authorities in their various community. Nigeria possesses 774 local councils created for basic local community functions but this purpose has since been defeated due to lack of autonomy by this tier of government.

We believed providing access to public dataset will help decision makers in public and private establishments. Also, average Nigeria can easily access their local government funding from the Federal Government and how much the local government authorities have spent on project within their constitutional provision.

We developed a simple architecture with Google API and Python for data batch pipeline and ETL respectively, Streamlit for Web Application Interface and dashboard analysis and Pabbly connect for Nigerians feedback data storage.
