His Excellency, Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, PhD, FNSE, today (Saturday, 13th June 2026), attended the 84th Birthday Anniversary and Book Launch of former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar (Rtd), held at the Banquet Hall of A*o Rock Villa, Abuja.

The occasion also featured the unveiling of a book titled The Legacy of a Statesman, celebrating the remarkable contributions and enduring impact of General Abdulsalami Abubakar on Nigeria’s democratic journey and national development.

The dignified event brought together eminent personalities, government officials, diplomats, traditional rulers, and distinguished guests from across Nigeria and beyond, in honour of a respected elder statesman, patriot, and exemplary national leader.

Just imagine this level of absurdity—while innocent citizens continue to suffer from insecurity, those who once took up arms against the nation are being welcomed back into the society 🤷.

To me, the only truly repentant terrorist is the dead once who can never return to terror us again. Nigeria deserves justice, security, and leadership that puts the safety of its people first. 🇳🇬✊🏽
