JUST IN: Masquerade Arrested
The Anambra State Police Command has issued a press statement confirming the arrest of the Agaba masquerade from Awgbu town in Orumba North Local Government Area.
According to the police, the arrest followed an unprovoked violent attack allegedly carried out in Awgbu, footage of which has been circulating widely on social media.
The Police Command stated that the masquerade is currently in police custody over an alleged breach of public peace and is undergoing investigation to ensure that justice is served.
Further updates will be provided as investigations continue.
What that Masquerade did, does not represent our culture. Don’t hide under culture to carry out nonsense.
