Ever noticed this secret pattern 🌀 in nature... That's Fibonacci pattern!
WHO WAS FIBONACCI?
Fibonacci was an Italian mathematician named Leonardo of Pisa (also called Leonardo Fibonacci).
He introduced this number pattern to Europe in the year 1202 through his book Liber Abaci.
Meet Fibonacci numbers: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 13, 21 etc
Each number = the sum of the two before it.
WHY IS TODAY FIBONACCI DAY?
Fibonacci Day is on November, 23rd.
And 11/23 follows the beginning of the sequence: 1, 1, 2, 3.
The date itself forms the pattern... Amazing, right?
WHERE DO WE SEE FIBONACCI IN REAL LIFE?
In Nature:
•Number of petals on many floors (3, 5, 8, 13)
•Seashell curves.
•Hurricane and galaxies
•Human face. proportions
Fibonacci makes growth efficient and beautiful, so nature uses it a lot.
THE GOLDEN RATIO!
As the Fibonacci numbers get bigger, the ratio of one number to the next becomes
1.618033... (it continues forever)
This is called the Golden Ratio.
It is usually written as φ (phi)
It appears in:
• Architecture
• Human body
It's considered "the perfect proportion."
Happy Fibonacci Day!
To grow beautifully, one step at a time.
