Happy Mothering Sunday/Day to me. 🥰

Even though I was not able to nurture my babies in my arms, I know I was an amazing mother to them in the months they lived in my belly.

I carried them.
I protected them.
I spoke to them.
I dreamed about them.

And I loved them more than anyone could ever imagine. That is the true love of a mother. 🤍

People sometimes think motherhood only starts when a baby is in your arms, but they forget that motherhood begins the moment a woman starts carrying life inside her.

Every kick, every prayer, every plan, every sleepless night thinking about the future… that is a mother’s love already at work.

Even though I did not get the chance to watch them grow, laugh, or call me “mummy,” they made me a mother. And that is something no one can ever take away from me.

I also take comfort in knowing that God Himself is taking care of them on my behalf. The One who loves them even more than I do is holding them. 🥹

Even in death, I still cherish and love them as though they are right here with me.

There is no day that passes that I don’t think about the children who made me a mother.

Motherhood didn’t end, it only changed form.

So today, I celebrate the love, the memories, the bond, and the title they gave me.
