Food first.
Then lessons.
Then play.

Somewhere in between, children are being nourished in ways that go beyond the plate through the community post school feeding program.

Some children struggle in class not because they are slow, but because their bodies are tired.

This is why our school feeding sessions focus on more than eating. We teach children about micronutrients and protein, helping them understand how food supports their energy, focus, and growth.

In this session, a simple lesson about fruits opened up new understanding. Familiar foods became tools for learning. Small knowledge that can lead to big change over time.

This is how habits begin.
This is how learning is protected.

When nutrition meets education, children show up differently.

Thank you to everyone supporting this work. If you would like to be part of it, send us a DM.

One of our main focus areas this school term is micronutrient education

Last week, the children had an interactive nutrition session where they learned why fruits matter and were given fruits in season. They were excited to discover that the regular agbalumo they enjoy is rich in vitamin C and helps keep them from falling sick too often.

This is what happens when nutrition meets education.
Brighter minds. Happier children. Better learning.

Thank you to our volunteers and partners who make Fridays like this possible. Want to be part of it? Send us a DM, we would love to hear from you.
