🚨VACANCY: GENERAL MANAGER (RETAIL OPERATIONS)
📍 Location: Abuja
🔹 Industry: Multi-Branch Retail / Supermarket
🔹Monthly Compensation: ₦1,000,000 (₦900,000 base + allowances)

🔹A fast-growing multi-branch retail organization in Abuja is seeking a highly experienced and disciplined General Manager (Retail Operations) to lead end-to-end supermarket operations across multiple branches, including newly opening locations.

🔹This is a strategic and operational leadership role for a proven retail operator with strong controls, compliance, and multi-branch management capability.

🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Lead overall daily operations across all retail branches
• Enforce SOPs, compliance standards, and internal control systems
• Mentor and supervise Branch Managers to ensure operational discipline
• Oversee stock control, inventory accuracy, cycle counts & monthly audits
• Drive shrinkage reduction and loss-prevention initiatives
• Ensure POS accuracy, cash handling compliance & reconciliation standards
• Manage receiving, warehouse operations, merchandising & shop-floor ex*****on
• Strengthen supplier management and resolve supply chain issues
• Conduct weekly performance reviews and prepare management reports
• Maintain excellent customer service and smooth store operations
• Support staffing, setup & rollout of new branches
Requirements
• 10–15 years’ experience in supermarket or retail operations
• Proven leadership managing at least two retail outlets simultaneously
• Strong skills in inventory management, stock control & shrinkage reduction
• High integrity with zero tolerance for fraud or collusion
• Experience working in owner-managed or founder-led environments
• Strong team leadership, discipline enforcement & people management skills
• Good understanding of Abuja’s retail market (advantage)
• Excellent communication, analysis & reporting skills
• Physically fit and able to meet retail operational demands
Compensation & Benefits
• Total package: ₦1,000,000 monthly
Includes:
