A family can feed for several days with ₦10,000': Tinubu's aide Tope Fasua tells Nigerians

The Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Economic Affairs, Tope Fasua, has advised Nigerians to cut their coat according to their size.

Fasua stated this while responding to questions at a members-only Coffee Hangout organised by Kay Hikers Club in Abuja.

He urged Nigerians to adjust their spending patterns to match their income, insisting that households must “cut their coat according to their size” amid ri$!ng economic pre$$ure.

Fasua issued the warπing during a h€ated discus$ion with a female attendee who criti¢!sed the wor$ening cost of living, ins€¢urity, and declining purchasing power.

The woman had questioned the affordability of basic needs, arguing that food items had become out of reach for many Nigerians.

However, Fasua acknowledged that prices had risen but maintained that households could still manage their resources effectively.

“A modest family will feed for several days with ₦10,000,” he said.

He then urged Nigerians to adopt more disciplined spending habits.

Popular Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has welcomed triplets with his wife, actress Mo Bimpe.

Lateef Adedimeji took to his official Instagram page today, May 1st, 2026 to share the development to all and sundry.

The actor confirmed to all and sundry that the three newborn babies are boys, and he has been protecting the secrets.

Recall that Lateef Adedimeji and his wife, actress Mo Bimpe (Oyebade Adebimpe), got married on December 22, 2021.

Their wedding was a series of events, starting with a traditional ceremony on December 18, 2021, followed by a grand Islamic Nikah on December 22 in Lagos.

Note that Lateef Adedimeji's marriage with Mo Bimpe has been tra!led with controv€r$y online over the years following the la¢k of ch!ldren.

A few months ago, Mo Bimpe shared messages in her inbox where many online users tr0ll€d her for not having children yet. They referred to her as b@rr€n.

In a combined Instagram post with his wife, Mo Bimpe, shared about an hour ago, Lateef Adedimeji wrote,

A video released online has shown f!ght€rs of the Islam!¢ State West Africa Province, ISWAP, reportedly bury!πg about 30 of their members following dev@$tating a!rstr,!kes by the Nigerian m!lit@ry in parts of northern Borno State.

The video was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by a counter-ins¥rgen¢y expert, Zagazola Makama.

Abvak Update had earlier reported that the Nigerian Air Force conducted an a!rstr!ke that k!ll€d about 30 t€rror!$ts in the tro¥bled northeast region.

According to the report, an ISR platform was deployed to the general area where it established overhead presence and confirmed the sighting of approximately 31 boats disper$ed along the riverbank, with associated human activity consistent with ISWAP f!ghters.

The security expert added that upon positive identification, the air component initiated precision str!ke operations in line with established Rules of Engagement and targ€ting protocols.
