“Can you make it pop?” the most meaningless feedback in design history.

You ever spend hours designing something clean, balanced, and professional…

Then the client hits you with: “Hmm, can you make it pop?”

Like seriously what does that even mean?

Add fireworks? Make the logo scream? Sprinkle fairy dust?

I swear, “make it pop” is designer language for “I don’t know what I want, but I’ll know it when I see it.”

And that’s where the suffering begins. 😩

We start tweaking, brightening, over-saturating until our clean layout looks like a carnival.

And guess what? They still say, “Not quite there yet.”

Sometimes I just wish clients understood that good design doesn’t need to “pop.”
It needs to communicate. To tell a story. To feel intentional.

But hey, we’ll still smile, open Photoshop again, and keep creating magic out of chaos
because that’s what we do. 🎨
