Action Against Police Brutality & Bad Governance

10/05/2024

For Nigeria’s youth, ‘Japa’ is more than a trend—it’s an ambition 😱 . It’s the pursuit of stability, safety, and success in a world where home struggles to provide these essentials.

In a country with high unemployment, security concerns, infrastructure gaps, poor governance, and existential worries about the nation’s future

For many young Nigerians, ‘Japa’ has become the embodiment of hope and ambition.
The term “Japa” captures the sentiment of running for one’s life, rather than simply migrating for better opportunities

But for how long. We captured the term . Which is now a movement. Now we need to and make Nigeria the home we Dream of rather than Japa syndrome.

Starting today, we find ourselves at a grim milestone: the 91 remaining will have endured an unconscionable 10 years in the clutches of Boko Haram. 😢

While 185 girls have bravely made it home, their resilience a testament to the human spirit, the 91 still held captive by terror serve as 91 haunting reminders of our collective failure. These young lives, stolen from their families and futures, demand our unwavering attention.

As the anniversary approaches, we raise our voices again, demanding urgent action from the Nigerian Government. It is time to ignite our outrage anew, to fan the flames of justice, and to insist on immediate and safe release for these girls. They deserve to be reunited with their families, to reclaim their stolen years, and to find solace beyond the nightmare that has consumed their youth.

Let us not forget their faces, their names, or their dreams. Let us rally together, across borders and boundaries, to say: Enough is enough. Bring back our girls. 🙏🇳🇬💔

Justice delayed is justice denied. Deborah Samuel’s killers still roam free, flaunting their heinous act. The silence of the Nigerian government is deafening. Is there something they’re hiding?

The innocence of our children is being stolen in broad daylight. Kidnapped futures, a shattered dreams, all under the shadow of political anarchy. Why must Nigerian children pay the price for power plays? Enough is enough! We demand action, not just words. It’s time to prioritize empathy over politics. Protect our children, a secure their future. ”

It is not about celebrating their freedom from captivity, how about avoiding another kidnap case.
