When you know how your customer's behaviors are and where they come from, half of your marketing problem is solved.

As they say, knowing the course of the problem is the first solution to the problem itself.

For me, my customers come from Ghana. I know this because of the frequent ads that have run to Nigeria and other countries.

This does not mean Nigerians don't buy from me but the Ghanaians buy more.

In terms of behavior, when I run ads to Nigerians, six out of ten are people who want to sell their own product to you.

A bad practice, but it is what it is.

For Ghanaians, when they land, some of them will not talk to you. They will just keep mute.

😡😡😡😡

I feel like blowing up when this happens but then we move.

I console myself with the genuine ones.

There are a lot of things I notice about my customer behaviors, but I will stop here.

I knew about these things because I observed them.
So this morning, my watchword to you is to observe.

You will be amazed at the little details you've been missing yet gigantic to your growth.

One way to sell a product/service successfully is to know your buyer.

Not just any buyer that will pick your product and drop it but the correct buyer.

You know those days when I was still on the street selling pieces of stuff. I sell women's perfume to those guys working at sawmills, mechanics, and tipper boys.

The reason is that they sweat more and even after bathing, it takes a while to get that feel-good sense.

I advice them not to get the male perfume because of the already establish smell they have. Adding a hash perfume to it might be choking the air.

Worst case scenario, I tell them to use both to balance the smell.

And it works all the time.

Did you see how I was able to sell two products at the same time just because I picked a specific audience?

You too can do it.

Just know what you are selling and the benefits and give a beautiful reason why they need it.

When I was in 300 level in school, during my mini project, one of the panel members said, "At your level, you are still saying upstage and downstage.

Of course, this is not a compliment but a shade at how I express my claim.

Fast forward to when I started blogging, I always hear people say, find your writing voice.

Truth be told, I was lost. One day, after I shared an article on Reddit, I got lots of comments from these people.

The majority said I like your writing style. Some went further to explain, that my sentences were very simple more like a child and they loved it.

Not one but over time, lots of my audience said the same. At that moment, I stopped beating myself up trying to write like the New York Times.

I have found my voice and secret.

Today, I am telling you that, you are unique in your own way and that is your selling point.

Embrace it. It does not have to make meaning to everyone but surely you will find your audience like I found mine.

How I started selling at every end End of the Year.

I grew up in a polygamous house. A very big one at that. As a kid, I look forward to Christmas like every child. Even though Mum was not with Dad, one of my stepmum always made sure I got a new dress.

Yes, she will get me the best and send it across. Sometimes she gets me two pairs of clothes.
