COMMANDANT NAFRC GRADUATES PARTICIPANTS OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND MANAGEMENT COURSE 17/2026
The Commandant of the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC), Air Vice Marshal Nnaemeka Ignatius Ilo, on 18 March 2026 graduated participants of the Middle and Senior Level Officers Entrepreneurship and Management Course 17/2026.
The programme which was conducted in partnership with EMPRETEC, was attended by the Country Representative of EMPRETEC Nigeria Foundation, Her Excellency Dr Onari Duke, who commended the longstanding and sterling collaboration between both organisations. She noted that the programme has equipped officers with practical entrepreneurial and leadership skills through lectures, workshops, and study visits, including a tour of Songhai Farms in the Benin Republic. She advised officers to hold firmly the knowledge gained during the course of the study at the Centre as it would be useful to them in future endeavours.
The Commandant, Air Vice Marshal Ilo during his address congratulated the participants and emphasized the importance of self-development and entrepreneurial skills for life after service. The Commandant further noted that in the past, participants of the course have demonstrated practical engagement by establishing their enterprise using the knowledge gained from the Centre. He therefore advised the graduands to pick a specific area of interest and develop on it in order to build a formidable future after service.
The Commandant appreciated the President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu; the Minister of Defence, Chief of Defence Staff, and Service Chiefs for their continued support to the NAFRC.

NAFRC COMMANDANT MARKS 100 DAYS IN OFFICE WITH MEDICAL OUTREACH
The Commandant of the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC), Oshodi, Lagos, Air Vice Marshal Nenemaka Ignatius Ilo, conducted a medical outreach programme at the Ladipo International Auto-Parts Market, Lagos, on Thursday, 12 March 2026 The programme formed part of activities commemorating the Commandant’s first 100 days in office and underscored NAFRC’s commitment to community service and public health promotion.
The outreach provided free medical services to traders, artisans, and residents of the Ladipo community as part of efforts to strengthen community engagement and promote access to basic healthcare.
Medical personnel from NAFRC, offered a range of services including health education, general medical consultations, dental and eye screenings, laboratory investigations, cervical cancer screening, HPV vaccination for girls aged 9–14 years, deworming for children under five, and the distribution of medications, corrective glasses, and insecticide-treated mosquito nets among others.
Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the initiative, describing the outreach as timely and impactful.

NAFRC COMMANDANT VISITS CDS, RECEIVES ASSURANCE OF SUPPORT
The Commandant Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC), Air Vice Marshal Nnaemeka Ignatius Ilo, paid a courtesy visit to the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Olufemi Oluyede, as part of efforts to strengthen institutional support for the Centre’s mandate.
During the visit, Air Vice Marshal Ilo briefed the CDS on NAFRC’s training and resettlement programmes, ongoing reforms, and its role in preparing personnel of the Armed Forces for productive post-service life. He also highlighted key challenges affecting the effective delivery of the Centre’s objectives.
In his response, the CDS commended the Commandant for his leadership and reaffirmed the strategic importance of the NAFRC to the welfare and reintegration of military personnel.
The CDS assured the Commandant of his commitment to support the Centre in enhancing capacity building and overall operational effectiveness.
