The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, reaffirmed the Nigerian Air Force's commitment to air power readiness and welfare-driven warfare during a visit to Tactical Air Command (TAC) in Makurdi. He praised TAC personnel for their contributions to national security, emphasizing the need for heightened readiness and sustained operational tempo. The CAS highlighted his policy of "Welfare for Enhanced Warfare," prioritizing improved living conditions, timely allowances, and strengthened support for personnel. He assured that Headquarters NAF will continue to support TAC and urged personnel to remain motivated and ready to deliver decisive air power.

The Nigerian Navy held a Pulling and Sailing Out Ceremony on December 11, 2025, to honor retiring Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla. The ceremony marked the end of Ogalla's illustrious naval career, defined by patriotism, strategic foresight, and exceptional leadership. In his farewell address, Ogalla expressed gratitude to God, honored fallen naval personnel, and thanked his family for their support. He praised the Nigerian Navy's growing capabilities and expressed confidence in its current leadership, wishing the service continued success in addressing maritime security challenges.
