Raft Foundation.

There are different types of building foundations but the one used for a building in any location is suggested by the bearing capacity of the soil.
For weak soil of low bearing capacity, Raft foundations or pile foundations are considered.
Notwithstanding, for the most suitable choice, considerations are made on the bases of ;

✓ Total load transfered to the bearing soil (both self weight and imposed load)
✓ Total area covered by the structure.
