Wonder is the key to endless creativity. However, in our day, children are getting to grow up too soon and too fast. It would seem as though the order of things in our present world forces children to shed this amazing capacity to gaze in wide-eyed wonder at things and phenomena all around them. Authentic “Wows!” seem to be disappearing fast from children’s vocabulary.

The kingdom of God is intrinsically linked with the heart-posture of a child. Enjoyment of all that the Kingdom of God is, and the composite spheres that make it up, is dependent on being like little children—childlike and not childish.
As such, the Young and Creative summer camp is to discover, rediscover, affirm and channel the gift of wonder in young ones such that through them mind-blowing expressions of God’s creative nature might once again find expression.
