In Isiwu and Eginrin Ekun communities, access to clean water was not only a water challenge, it is also an energy challenge. Without stable electricity, water systems struggle to function consistently, leaving communities vulnerable to unreliable access.

This is why for Project SWIFT we adopted a sustainable energy solution capable of guaranteeing uninterrupted operations.

By powering the water infrastructure with renewable solar energy, the system is designed to ensure reliable, round-the-clock access to clean water for residents while reducing dependence on unstable electricity sources and lowering long-term operational costs.

We are proud that Nextworks installed the solar component of Project SWIFT and joined our growing network of technical partners committed to driving sustainable community development.

Thank you, Nextworks, for contributing to a future where clean energy and clean water work hand in hand to transform lives.

We are reminded by our Founder/CEO that Project SWIFT is more than just access to water, it is a commitment to sustainability and ensuring that Isiwu and Eginrin-Ekun communities can rely on safe, clean water for years to come.

Project SWIFT has been commissioned! 🎉

16 implementing months. 2 communities. 1 clear need.

It started with a simple but important question: what do the communities truly need? The answer was undeniable: Access to clean, safe water.

There were setbacks along the way, but we kept going. We listened, we learned, we planned, and we showed up again and again.

Today, that commitment has become reality.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible. Your support, dedication, and belief in this vision brought Project SWIFT to life.

The PROBLEM

Isiwu and Eginrin-Ekun Community in Ikorodu North have long relied on little to no access to clean water which has put hundreds of residents in the community, especially women and children, at risk.

The PROCESS

After thorough community needs assessment, we deployed a solar-powered water system designed to provide access to clean water, and improve overall wellbeing for the communities.

The OUTCOME

The infrastructure is standing. The communities have been trained and the work is nearly complete.

Project SWIFT is almost at the finish line and we are proud of every step it took to get here.
