PACE SETTERS INITIATIVE PARTICIPATES IN CHILD RIGHTS & SAFEGUARDING WORKSHOP

On November 20, 2025, Pace Setters Initiative joined other key stakeholders at the Child Rights and Safeguarding Workshop organized by the Hearts and Hands Humanitarian Foundation (3HF) in Ikeja, Lagos.

The workshop brought together government agencies, NGOs, community leaders, and child protection advocates for a deep conversation on the realities facing children especially Child Domestic Workers across Lagos State.

With a keynote address delivered by the NAPTIP Zonal Commander and an insightful panel session, participants explored:

✅ The root causes of child exploitation
✅ Gaps in enforcement of child protection laws
✅ Community roles in safeguarding vulnerable children
✅ Strengthening the Child Rights Act across all levels
✅ Improving community reporting and accountability systems

The conversation emphasized that every child (houseboys, housegirls, and domestic helpers included) deserves safety, dignity, and justice.
