LIGHT GIVES LEADERSHIP

“And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.” Daniel 12:3

The word ‘shine’ from the scripture above is from the Hebrew word ‘ZAHAR’, which means: to admonish, warn, teach, inspire, and send out light; all these connote leadership. So, it means that light gives leadership; it gives guidance and direction.

Just as the star led the wise men to the infant Jesus, giving guidance and direction, this year being the year of Lights, God’s Word in your Spirit will be a sure guiding light, producing in you an extraordinary amplitude of comprehension and vision, and causing you to give accurate discernment, guidance and leadership for many to follow. Your life will be a testimony of wisdom and excellence.

The Bible says in Matthew 28:19-20 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” The word ‘teach’ here means to shine, so the Master is saying that you should go and shine to all nations. Hallelujah, What a commission!

You have been commissioned to shine with the Gospel. So, this year, like never before, take evangelism and soul winning seriously; make it a conscious lifestyle. Don’t let anyone or anything dissipate your zeal and passion for souls. Remember, you have been commissioned to shine to all nations. Be determined to let the light of the glorious gospel shine so brightly through you.

GIVING AND RECEIVING

Tuesday, September 4th

Now ye Philippians know also, that inthe beginning of the gospel, when Ideparted from Macedonia, no churchcommunicated with me as concerninggiving and receiving, but ye only (Philippians 4:1)

Sometimes, there’re those who get veryexcited when we say, “In giving to the Lord, itdoesn’t really matter the ‘size’ of the seed.” But the Bible says, “…this I say, He which sowethsparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully” (2 Corinthians9:6).

In other words, if you’re miserly in your giving, you’ll reap a paltry or meagre harvest, but if you givegenerously, you’ll also reap generously. That’s theWord; it’s a spiritual law. It’s simply about sowing andreaping, or as Paul puts it in our opening verse, “givingand receiving.” You don’t need to “pray” to God tomake a law work which He already instituted. Laws, anykind of law, when applied rightly, would produce the requisite results. Likewise, if you misapply them, they’llwork against you.

There’re things you don’t need to petition God tomake happen, once you’ve acted on the Word or on aspiritual principle. This is clear in some of the parablesof Jesus on how the Kingdom of God functions. Forexample, when you read Mark 4:26-28, He didn’t say after sowing into the ground, the man fasted and prayed for the seeds to grow; no! Rather, he went tosleep; and of their own accord, the seeds grew andproduced fruits.

When you apply the law of sowing, it works. The Bible says, “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter,and day and night shall not cease” (Genesis 8:22). Aslong as there’s seed time, it means harvest is assuredand it can be anytime; the harvest happens automatically.

God isn’t necessarily the one to make the harvest happen. All He does is to channel His grace and favour towards you for superabundance. 2 Corinthians 9:8(AMPC) says, “And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance,so that you may always and under all circumstancesand whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessingenough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].” Always give bountifully, for the promise is to the giver, not the receiver (Luke 6:38).

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, I thank you for the privilege of giving into the Gospel. I’m blessed in all I do, andprosper in all things, because I’m a giver. I’ll always give bountifully for the propagation of the Gospel of Christ in all the earth; likewise, my harvest is sure, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

****YOU HAVE TO DECLARE THESE WORDS TO YOUR FAMILY, SITUATION AND CIRCUMSTANCES. GOD'S WORD DOESN'T COME TO PASS IN YOUR LIFE JUST BECAUSE GOD SAYS SO, BUT BECAUSE YOU SAY SO..... IN THE EARTH. THY WORD O LORD IS SETTLED IN HEAVEN....THE SONS, MEN AND WOMEN OF GOD HAVE TO SETTLE IT IN THE EARTH.

ISAIAH 55:8 —11 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Gen 41:9 — Gen 41:40 JOSEPH IS GIVEN A COAT OF MANY COLORS; JOSEPH REPRESENTS ILLUMINATION, CLOTHED IN LIGHT. ANYTHING THAT'S MOVING FASTER THAN THE SPEED OF LIGHT IS IN THE SUPERNATURAL. THE SPIRIT OF LIGHT REVELATION ALLOWS US TO CROSS THE LIGHT LINE TO SEE INTO THE REALMS OF SPIRIT.

****I AM ANOINTED TO SEE WHAT OTHER MEN CANNOT SEE. WHAT HAS NOT YET ENTERED THE SPIRIT OF MEN IS REVEALED TO ME BY THE SPIRIT OF LIGHT..

2Co 2:14 — 2Co 2:16 "Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. And who is sufficient for these things?

****BECAUSE OF WHAT JOSEPH IS WEARING, CLOTHED WITH ILLUMINATION AND LIGHT, HIS BROTHERS HATED HIM AND TRIED TO STRIP HIM OFF HIS ILLUMINATION, LIGHT. THAT'S WHY EVERY TIME YOU HEAR THE WORD OF GOD THE DEVIL SEEKS TO STRIP YOU OFF THE ILLUMINATION, REVELATION BECAUSE OF YOUR DREAMS.

****THE BIBLE SAYS THERE IS SUCH FAVOR ON JOSEPH THAT EVEN IN THE SITUATION OF INCARCERATION HE RISES TO THE TOP ( FROM PIT TO THE PALACE)

****FAVOR...FROM HEBREW WORD "CANAN" MEANING TO BOW, BEND OR LEAN IN KINDNESS TO ONE WHO IS KNOWINGLY INFERIOR IN OTHER WORDS WHEN GOD FAVORS YOU, HE SAYS I KNOW YOU'RE THE UNDERDOG; I KNOW YOU'RE THE ONE WHO'S GOT THE ODDS AGAINST YOU....BUT AM GOING TO DO IT FOR YOU ANYWAY!! GOD SAYS I AM GOING TO BLESS, PROMOTE, ELEVATE YOU ANYWAY! GOD IS LEANING IN YOUR DIRECTION!

****JOSEPH IS HATED BY HIS BROTHERS, FIRED FOR A LIE AND INCARCERATED.....THAT'S NOT FAIR BUT NEITHER IS FAVOUR!

****MARY AND MARTHA: REHEARSED THEIR UNBELIEF. INSTEAD OF MARY SPEAKING THE WORDS OF JESUS 4 DAYS EARLIER WHEN HE SAID THIS SICKNESS IS NOT UNTO DEATH SHE GOES TO CALL MARY INSTEAD. SOMETIMES INSTEAD OF SPEAKING GOD'S WORD WE SEEK PRAYER PARTNERS.

****YOU GOT TO WATCH WHO YOU TALK TO WHEN YOU'RE LIVING SUPERNATURALLY!! YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE THERE WHEN THE SHIFT TAKES PLACE IN THE SUPERNATURAL. SPEAK THE WORD IN YOUR ROOM!! THE BUTLER GETS OUT OF JAIL AND FOR 2 YEARS AND NEVER MENTIONS ANYTHING ABOUT JOSEPH TO THE PHARAOH UNTIL THE KING HAS A DREAM!!

****SOMEONE'S DREAM IS GOING TO DEMAND YOUR POTENTIALS AND ABILITIES; DEMAND THAT YOU BE RELEASED FROM THE CHAINS THAT BOUND YOU.

****IT WAS WHEN JOSEPH GOT INVOLVED WITH SOMEONE ELSE'S DREAMS THAT JOSEPH WAS RELEASED AND THERE WAS SUPERNATURAL SWIFT SHIFT INTO HIS POSITION OF INFLUENCE. SUPERNATURALLY JOSEPH ENTERED THE POLITICAL SOCIAL SCENE. GOD'S GOING TO SUPERNATURALLY SWIFTLY SHIFT THINGS, BREAK YOU IN, AND BREAK YOU OUT INTO WHERE HE PLANNED FOR YOU TO BE!!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FRIDAY, 12TH JANUARY.

YOU HAVE THE VICTORY.

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world (John 16:33).

We’ve just read the words of Jesus; so powerful, encouraging, and comforting! He said, “…In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD .” What a consciousness. This was how Jesus lived, even though He was in a world plagued by gross darkness, economic hardships, sickness, oppression, deaths, disasters, etc., He was so detached from the problems and the corrupting influences of His day. He had a victor’s mindset; the kind He expects us to function with.

2 Timothy 3:12 says, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” When challenges, persecutions, distressing situations, turbulent times, trials, and temptations come, be of good cheer; be unflustered, because you’ve already overcome them all. That’s how you’re supposed to think and live, because in Christ, you’ve overcome the world. 1 John 4:4 says, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

When you’re conscious of this, it’ll affect your prayer-language. It doesn’t matter what challenges I face, when I pray, I declare “In the Name of the Lord Jesus, I have overcome the world and its systems, its economics, hatred, poverty, corruption, depression, and falsehood.” That’s why nothing in the world can get my attention, because I’ve overcome the world in Christ.

This is true for every one of us; you’re not a victim but a victor. You’re in Christ, and His victory over the world was for you. Don’t pray to overcome; don’t try to overcome. Don’t fast to overcome. You’ve already overcome Satan, the world, and its systems: “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?” (1 John 5:4-5).

PRAYER
I’ve overcome the world and its systems; its troubles, predicaments, afflictions and temptations, because greater is He that’s in me, than he that’s in the world. I exercise my authority in Christ over all the power and schemes of the enemy, and I’m eternally triumphant, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
