On March 3 this year, a day of silence was observed on the Island of Bali in Indonesia. All businesses were closed with the use of internet, television and other mundane activities prohibited. They were to stay indoors and rest.

Having worked with Balinese therapists for over a decade now, I’ve come to appreciate diversity and inclusion in the workplace even more. The importance of respecting and tolerating other people’s race, religion, gender, beliefs et al cannot be overemphasized.

No, I don’t need to be a convert, but I need to understand other people in order to be a good colleague, leader, manager or employer.

Which brings me to the point that my company seeks to recruit therapists across the globe. In fact, we are looking inward now to recruit from other countries in Africa.

My heavenly Father loves me with an eternal devotion and has drawn me to Himself with immeasurable compassion. I have His word that He will model me and make me what He desires me to be. From here on out, He will encourage, strengthen and build me up. I know that He will never give up on me. Therefore, I can now take my place and dance with joy among the faithful.
