With God All Things Are Possible

Therefore sent he thither horses and chariot, and a great host and they came by night and compassed the city about (2Kings 6;15). When Elisha's servant saw them, he discovered that he and Elisha were completely surrounded, and he became terrified. He lamented (2Kings 6:16). Naturally,this should be a moment of fear and trembling; but Elisha,being a man who was alert in the spirit and full of confidence in God and conscious of his divine protection as a covenant child of Abraham. He said to his servant...Fear not for they that be with us are more than they that be with them,(2kings 6:16) What an inspiring words of confidence! He saw solders on horses and chariots, bearing weapons,yet he was undisturbed. He knew that the divine solders guiding them were far more than those that were sent to arrest him ;instead he prayed to God to open the spiritual eyes of his servant,So Elisha prayed and said,... Lord, I pray thee,open his eyes,that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariot of fire round about Elisha, 2(Kings 6:17). Then the young saw that he and his master were divinely protected by unseen multitude of angels! Superior securities!.Just like Elisha, you should be mindful of your divine protection always, but we refuse to see, that is why we continue to suffer.... We have unique authority....
