PROJECT TECI – Equity Classroom Initiative
We are pleased to share the official School Selection Criteria for participation in the PROJECT-TECI Training Programme for teachers and educators.
This selection process helps us identify schools that are truly ready to engage in inclusive education practice, not just in theory, but in implementation.
Schools will be assessed based on leadership endorsement, staff nomination structure, training readiness, infrastructure availability, and their commitment to cascading the training through step-down sessions after the programme.

Meet Winifred Chioma Egeonu
a passionate educator, inclusion specialist, and mental health advocate dedicated to helping every child thrive.

With over 8 years of experience in teaching, school leadership, and learner support, Winifred plays a vital role as Deputy Lead (Lower School) and SENCO, where she champions inclusive practices and designs personalised learning strategies for diverse learners.

Her impact goes beyond academics: ✨ Trains teachers on inclusive classroom practices
✨ Enhances student engagement through differentiated & tech-driven instruction
✨ Provides emotional support as a Part-Time Counselor, promoting mental wellbeing for students, educators, and parents

A certified phonics educator, Winifred has spent over five years strengthening literacy skills, helping early learners build confidence in reading, writing, and spelling.

Through Linking Circles Academy, she extends her reach globally, facilitating online learning for African children in the diaspora and ensuring access to quality education beyond borders.

🎓 With a background in Psychology from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, alongside multiple certifications in safeguarding, special education, and child wellbeing, and membership with the American Psychological Association (APA), Winifred brings both expertise and empathy into every learning space.

💡 Her mission is clear: creating safe, inclusive, and supportive environments where every child can grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
