Initiative along with Popular Farms & Mills Ltd. has been in the fore front in driving backward integration in rice, encouraging self-sufficiency during the current economic dilemma caused by -19. Annual supply chain meet was recently hosted to announce the wet harvest of Paddy Rice & Sesame in , this year 245 farmer’s cooperatives across North East, North Central and North West Nigeria comprising of ~8000 farmers were given aids like high quality seeds, farming tools, agricultural equipment, pumps etc. to increase the yield. SEI is invested in working with the farmers to better their livelihood and socio economic status.
