¹⁸ may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height-–
¹⁹ to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
²⁰ Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
²¹ to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

*THEME: _THE MYSTERY OF CHRIST_*

*MESSAGE*
Talking about the mystery of Christ does not refer to anything "mysterious" in the person of Christ nor the union of the divine and human nature in Him; nor is anything difficult of apprehension in the work of the atonement. It simply means the hitherto concealed doctrine that through Jesus Christ the Messiah, the Gentiles were to enjoy the same privileges as the Jews, and that the plan of salvation was to be made equally free for all.

This great truth had been concealed or partially understood for a long time, and Paul says that he was appointed to make it known to the world.

Have you the key into this revealed mystery by accepting Jesus Christ into your life as Saviour and Lord? He is the Only One that can give lasting insight and solution to your life's challenges.

Every bit of problem in life finds its final solution in the person and being of the Lord Jesus Himself. God has set His Son at the heart of all things. Therefore, the understanding of this great mystery is the key to the ultimate solutions for which men are seeking today. If we begin to understand what Christ is, who He is, what He does and how we can lay hold of Him, we will begin to see the solutions to these problems as they are, indeed, unfolding in many lives.

Solutions are coming into being as we grasp what Christ has made available to us. I know that sometimes we are so blinded by familiarity with these terms that we miss its impact. But I pray that God will open the eyes of your understanding, that you will see how fantastic this great mystery is and how important it is to understand it thoroughly, and to enter into it.

1. GOD moves in a mysterious way
His wonders to perform;
He plants His footsteps in the sea,
And rides upon the storm.

2. Deep in unfathomable mines
Of never-failing skill
He treasures up His bright designs,
And works His sovereign will.

3. Ye fearful saints, fresh courage take,
The clouds ye so much dread
Are big with mercy, and shall break
In blessings on your head.

4. Judge not the Lord by feeble sense,
But trust Him for His grace;
Behind a frowning providence
He hides a smiling face.

5. His purposes will ripen fast,
Unfolding every hour;
The bud may have a bitter taste,
But sweet will be the flower.

6. Blind unbelief is sure to err,
And scan His work in vain;
God is His own Interpreter
And He will make it plain.

_MEMORY VERSE:_
Ephesians3:6“That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel.”

*PRAYER:*
Heavenly Father, unfold the mystery of Your Word to me and help me to always act according to Your commands in Jesus' name.

¹ Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth!
² Sing out the honor of His name; Make His praise glorious.
³ Say to God, "How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You.
⁴ All the earth shall worship You And sing praises to You; They shall sing praises to Your name." Selah
⁵ Come and see the works of God; He is awesome in His doing toward the sons of men.
⁶ He turned the sea into dry land; They went through the river on foot. There we will rejoice in Him.
⁷ He rules by His power forever; His eyes observe the nations; Do not let the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah
⁸ Oh, bless our God, you peoples! And make the voice of His praise to be heard,

*THEME: _THE AWESOME GOD 2_*

*MESSAGE*
This an anonymous psalm of praise is, on the whole, divided into three parts: (i) verses 1-7 seems to be a personal thanksgiving after an experience of distress (ii) A national song of praise (verses 8-15) after a national deliverance from a war or problem while (iii) 16-20 is a personal invitation to rejoice with the person in (i) above. Whatever it is, God deserves our praises every time.

The writer of this Psalm looked back at the awesome power of God that manifested terror on the Egyptians and mercy and kindness on the Israelites. He noted that mere praises wouldn't be enough for God's awesome power that delivered them.

Furthermore, Israel felt that her praise of God could not possibly be sufficient to extol such a great deliverance, therefore the whole world is invited to join in the Praise. “All the earth shall worship you” Psa. 66:4. We see part of the fulfillment of this prophecy during the Covid-19 crises. We noticed some world powers openly crying to the God in heaven for mercy when their money, technology, scientists, astrologers and all their learning, researches, education and inventions could not deliver them from the pandemic that ravaged the world, where thousands died helplessly. Some threw their idols into the river because they could not guarantee salvation any more. Their expensive cars were parked in garages, likewise their private Jets, their big companies and businesses and shopping malls shut down and their streets deserted.

“He turned the sea into dry land, they passed through the waters on foot” (Psa. 66:6). He parted the sea on two occasions for the Israelites. What are those 'seas' staring at you presently? They must part by His awesome power in Jesus name. The Lord will grant you such deliverance and salvation that you will not need to lift a finger in the fight for all your battles are already His (Exodus 14:14).

*HYMN: EMHB 333* _(C.M.)_
1. Come let us, who in Christ believe,
Our common Saviour praise,
To Him with joyful voices give
The glory of His grace.

2. He now stands knocking at thedoor
Of every sinner's heart;
The worst need keep Him out nomore,
Or force Him to depart.

3. Through grace we hearken to Thy voice,
Yield to be saved from sin;
In sure and certain hope rejoice,
That Thou wilt enter in.

4. Come quickly in, Thou heavenly Guest,
Nor ever hence remove;
But sup with us, and let the feast
Be everlasting love. Amen.

_MEMORY VERSE:_
Psalm 66:5 “Come and see what God has done, how awesome His works in man's behalf.”

*PRAYER:*
Lord, let the whole world around me see Your power through me. Deliver me from shackles and frustrations today and give me undeniable proofs to shout Your praises daily, in Jesus' name. Amen

*_TEXT: MARK 12:28-34_*
²⁸ Then one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, perceiving that He had answered them well, asked Him, "Which is the first commandment of all?"
²⁹ Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.
³⁰ And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment.
³¹ And the second, like it, is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."
³² So the scribe said to Him, "Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, for there is one God, and there is no other but He.
³³ And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices."
³⁴ Now when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, He said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." But after that no one dared question Him.

*THEME: _LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOURS_*

*MESSAGE*
Following our meditation yesterday, to be practical with your love, you don't need to travel far and wide before you become real with your love. The subject of neighbourliness was well emphasized by Christ in His ministry on earth. Many a time you might be tempted to be looking for who to express your acts of love to.

You may assume that there is no one around you that is in need. But today you need to look inward into your neighbourhood. Jesus gave us a definition of who your neighbour is in his popular parable of the good Samaritan, who helped a wounded Jew, a stranger for that matter (Luke 10:30-37).

Your neighbour is not limited to where you live. It might be in your office environment; it might be on the road; it might be at a meeting; it might be anywhere. There is a person around you that needs help, encouragement or support in any way. You are expected to meet these needs as much as God grants you the enablement to do so.

It is then important for you to define what it means to be in need. To be in need may not be that you need money or that you are poor. The need of a man goes beyond physical or material things. You may need to ask the Lord how you can be of help to the people around you and He will guide you into loving your neighbour.

As you go out this Monday and this week, be on the look-out for a neighbour to help as an act of love. You may be led to ask somebody today, how you can be of help and you may be surprised how God can use you in this regard.

*HYMN: EMHB 442* _(C.M.)_
1. HAPPY the heart where graces reign,
Where love inspires the breast;
Love is the brightest of the train,
And perfects all the rest.

2. Knowledge, alas, 'tis all in vain,
And all in vain our fear;
Our stubborn sins will fight and reign,
If love be absent there.

3. 'Tis love that makes our cheerfulfeet
In swift obedience move:
The devils know, and tremble too;
But Satan cannot love.

4. This is the grace that lives and sings,
When faith and hope shall cease;
"Tis this shall strike our joyful strings
In the sweet realm of bliss.

5. Before we quite forsake our clay,
Or leave this dark abode,
The wings of love bear us away
To see our gracious God.

_MEMORY VERSE:_
Mark 12:33b "…And to love one's neighbour as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices."

*PRAYER:*
Lord Jesus, don't allow me to miss any opportunity to be of help to somebody that needs it around me or on my path today. Amen.
