WEEKEND INSPIRATION
with Olufemi Babatope.
Topic: DEPLOY YOUR TREASURES:
"Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal" (Matthew 6:19).
Treasures are things we greatly value or cherish; they are things we consider to be precious to us. They are things God deposited into you for the fulfilment of His purpose for your life. Treasures could be emotional, financial, spiritual or material wealth, they could be animate or inanimate, or a combination of two or more of these.
By definition, treasures are not common; you don't pick them on the surface, you have to dig for them. No wonder they are jealousy guarded or secured against theft, corruption or vegaries of the weather. No wise person exposes his treasures to jeopardy. In most cases, you store uncommon things in safe places.
However, treasures are useless until you put them to use. Hidden or unused treasures may be corrupted, diminished in value, stolen or rot away over time. For example, if you pack a car or lock a house for a long time, it will begin to deteriorate. It will be affected by the law of atrophy. Dreams, gold, ideas, insight, knowledge, money, strength, skills, revelations, relationships, vision, wisdom and other treasures can be lost or diminish in value if not wisely deployed.
"Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you" (Mathew 7:6).
Deploy your treasures to impart or improve your church, community and nation; influence the world or your generation; add meaning to lives and destinies to the glory of God.
In the attempts to guard and deploy your treasures, you need a combination of mental, physical and spiritual efforts. You will need to:
1. Do some thorough thinking over them.
2. Take functional, pragmatic steps to deploy them.
3. Pray aggressively over them.

WEEKEND INSPIRATION with Olufemi Babatope
TOPIC: ENGAGE THE POWER OF FOCUS.
"The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light" (Matthew 6:22).
Jesus said, "If your eyes be single, your entire body will be full of light". That is, the more you focus on something, the more you have a deeper and wider knowledge and understanding of that thing.
Whatever you focus on expands. You have a better appreciation of something when you pay enough attention on it. It helps you to examine the intricate details of it.
This weekend, take an aspect of your life, especially an area where you need improvement, desire a positive change, ponder about it, pray on it, seek pragmatic solutions, and design a workable system to grow and develop in that area.
You will need to eliminate things that distract you so that you can concentrate on things that add value to your life. Focus helps you to integrate your energy on your purpose. Focus helps you to use your time efficiently and well. Focus helps you to get excellent results. Focus helps you to be a man of impact and influence. Focus brings out the significant YOU!
Receive grace to ignore sideshow attractions and get your bearing right, in Jesus mighty name.

Dearly beloved,
The Lord says, "Don't be afraid, believe in Me"
This is the time to come closer to God. This is the time for deeper fellowship with the Lord through explosive worship, higher praise and fervent prayers. This is not the time to cringe in fear. When you're afraid, you're helping the devil because the spirit of fear is of the devil (2 Timothy 2:7). Hear the word of the Lord, "Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth" (Mark 9:23). The lord says, "Don't be afraid, believe in God". Your healing, feeding, safety, protection, preservation, restoration of losses, etc are possible. God tells me to tell you, "Don't be afraid, believe in God".
This global pandemic will pass away, believe. Then there's going to be a revival in the land, beginning from our families and the church. Therefore, let's pray together. Let's pray for one another. Let's intercede for our brethren, and the nations, globally. Let's cry to our God, the Jehovah, the One that rules in the affairs of men. Let's trust Him for our safety and deliverance. He alone is God!
Please, let's take to all the precautionary measures as advised by our medical experts. Discipline and cleanliness is very important this time. Don't expose yourself to the "risk factors" as pointed out by the government and health experts. Prevention is always better than cure. Please stay clean and stay safe!
And then, get ready for the coming of the Lord. The trumpet shall sound anytime according to the scriptures (1 Cor.15:52).
Join me in prayer now. Add your own prayer points. Pray as often as you can - morning, afternoon, evening, night. God bless you richly, Amen and Amen.
