FROM RESULTS-DRIVEN TO VALUE-DRIVEN

One of the mindset shifts needed for success in my field is results-driven mindset .

In the beginning, I believed success was about how fast things grew, numbers, recognition, and visible results. But now, I have realized that lasting success isn’t about chasing quick wins; it’s about creating real value that transforms people’s lives, even when you don’t see it immediately.

PERSONAL STORY:

I remember when I first started a ministry. I was passionate, excited, and full of vision. Naturally, I expected it to grow quickly, people coming in, lives changing, momentum building.

But month after month, nothing significant seemed to happen. For three years I gave my best, yet the results I longed for never showed up. Eventually, I got discouraged and disappointed, I shut it down.

I walked away thinking it had failed.

But just recently, a young man approached me and shared his story. With gratitude in his voice, he told me how the things I taught him back then had become a lifeline for him while he was in school. He said those lessons shaped his choices, gave him direction, and kept him going.

In that moment, I realized something profound: what I thought wasn’t working back then was actually working, just not in the way I expected. The seeds I planted were growing silently in people’s lives, even when I couldn’t see the results.

THE LESSON

This taught me that true success is not always measured in immediate outcomes, but in lasting impact.

Don’t quit just because you can’t see the fruit yet, the seeds are still working.

Don’t chase applause, chase transformation.

Don’t be results-driven, be value-driven.

Because value will always outlive results.

IDENTITY is about knowing who you truly are beyond the labels, opinions, and limitations placed on you.

You are not your failure, not your past, not the cage, you are who God created you to be.

You cannot live out your purpose if you don’t first know who you are.
