Hi Folks!

13/08/2018

Duration: 6 minutes Read.

Hi folks, Let me first of all thanks those who with their perpetual concern laced with calls and chats kept telling me to come back here and for this reason I am coming out from my shell against all odds. It's been a very busy year. It has not been easy but in the words of Denzel Washington and I quote , "Ease is a greater threats to progress than hardship" and as the smooth waves don't make the best sailors, we don't expect our journeys to be easy always but one thing is sure, we ain't gon' give up, NO.

I hope you are advancing in your chosen field of study or studies.

For the first time in a very long time, welcome to Professional Tips.

I am Wale. 😁

I will be reminding us on what we already know. It's just a reminder.

YOU HAVE ACQUIRED ENOUGH.

That's my discourse this week.

let's do this.... 😄

I have found out that we are actually knowledgeable, I mean I have interacted with folks on here and it's amazing to know that we have already known enough that can give us amazing breakthroughs in life. We already have ideas, our head is full already.

We have attended several seminars and symposiums, we have acquired several certifications and trainings, we've gone to school and acquired all the certificates.

There is nothing wrong in this acquisition culture we have unconsciously found ourselves but it is at the detriment of our tomorrow that we can't do a thing with what we have acquired.
Folks, the 21st century kind of economy doesn't respond to plenty certificates and degrees. A good check on the world Billionaires is a testament to the fact that you do not need certificates as heavy as desktop computer to do what you have to do to get to where you ought to be.

Am I encouraging not to go to school? No.
Am I discouraging skill acquisition? No.
Rather, I am asking you sit down and run an intense self assessment on the little you have acquired.

What meaningful thing have you done with it?
What service have you rendered to humanity via the little you know.

Mark started Facebook in a Dormitory in Harvard.
You need to see Jeff Bezos when he started Amazon.

From my findings, I have realised that we know so much but do so little with what we know. We only yearn to know more and it's now looking like the more we know the less we do.

It's explainable.

We have refused to acknowledge the fact that most times and probably at all times, we DO NOT and I repeat, we DO NOT need to figure everything out before we start a thing.

My experience with executing ideas has taught me that ideas don't completely form or flow at the inception. Ideas seems to gather and form when you START. I mean you're never going to understand how great the little knowledge you have is until you START.
It's like a single action of striking a stick of match against the box, you don't have an idea how such action can burn down a whole community, the same thing is applicable to us all, the little we know is more than enough to get us to where we ought to be.

Most times, breakthroughs come in the process of starting, the little we acquire is not enough but more than enough to create a platform, give us a voice on this terrestrial ball only and if we can do something with it.

We are all full of wonders, don't ever lose yours.

You have acquired enough.

Do something with it.

Do something with it.

Do something with it.

You have acquired enough already.

Stop wasting God's deposits.

Let me end with the story of the Minas in the Bible.

Matthew 25, let me start from verse 24.
Matthew 25:24-30

[24]He who had received one talent also came forward, saying, Master, I knew you to be a harsh and hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you had not winnowed [the grain].

[25]So I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here you have what is your own.

[26]But his master answered him, You wicked and lazy and idle servant! Did you indeed know that I reap where I have not sowed and gather [grain] where I have not winnowed?

[27]Then you should have invested my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received what was my own with interest.

[28]So take the talent away from him and give it to the one who has the ten talent.

[29]For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will be furnished richly so that he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have, even what he does have will be taken away.

[30]And throw the good-for-nothing servant into the outer darkness; there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.

Are you like verse 25?

Can you read verse 27 again?

Did you read verse 28 very well?

What can you see in verse 29?

Verse 30 is a very sad event and no one want to end that way.

Choose your path.

Thanks for reading.

Feel free to ask questions.

I once again welcome you to Readers.

Have a great week.
