During the panel discussion at a Tech summit I recently attended, themed "breaking the glass ceiling for women and girls to thrive in a digital economy".

One of the guest speakers said "what if the glass ceiling doesnt exist, it's time we address this self-limiting belief headon, maybe we wouldn't be sitting down to have this discussion again".

I couldn't agree more, while we might try to cast a wider net, thus factors that could be a sticky floors for women to thrive in their chosen field: marriage, child bearing, gender disparity, etc.

Personally, as someone who's intentional and optimist; I see no limitations to achieve whatever I really desire in life; I see the metaphoric glass ceiling as a self-sabotaging mannerism that undermine our abilities to achieve our career goals.
