WHAT DOES THIS SIGN MEAN WHEN YOU SEE IT ON YOUR BUILDING?

ILLUMINATIONS: When you see this in front of your building on your way back from work.

Calm down except of cause, there is cause for alarm. This sign represents the Lagos State Material Testing Laboratory.

They are in charge of checking structural fitness.. You know how I educated us here on building approvals and Urban and Regional matters in respect of your property? Yes they are all part of the pack

Now, it's clear that if your building does not pass the structural test or assessment; it means they will have to pull your building down, that's only when you have to be afraid.

Now, as a tenant this is not your business; it's only your business to the extent that, they find the structure unfit for habitation. Meaning you will be forced to evacuate, aside that this is the Landlord's problem not yours.
