ADEFOLARIN is engaged to Princess Adedunni, a descendant of the Iduganran royal family. ADEFOLARIN has bought a large house for their future use and has hired FREDERICK to decorate the house in the ‘Idunganran royal colours’ and to have the royal crest embossed on all the doors. Princess Adedunni broke off the engagement to ADEFOLARIN and so ADEFOLARIN immediately told FREDERICK that he does not want the job carried out any more. Although FREDERICK has not started work, ADEFOLARIN refuses to pay him any compensation for the loss of the contract. FREDERICK therefore refuses to accept cancellation and proceeds to decorate the house.
