Many of us (music teachers) believe that effective teachers are those whose students seem to display both enthusiasm and quality of performance. Amazingly, this may not always be the case as some students manage to maintain their enthusiasm even in the face of the most uninspiring lessons.

A presented lesson perceived to be good might fail to be an effective one.
