Do you really know the difference between GAIN and VOLUME (FADER)?

Many sound engineers increase the Gain when they want more volume.
❌ BIG MISTAKE!

The Gain k**b is not a volume control.
The Gain controls how much signal enters the mixer.
The Fader controls how much signal leaves the mixer.

If your Gain is too high: 🔴 Distortion starts 🔴 Feedback becomes easier 🔴 The mix becomes harsh 🔴 Livestream quality suffers.

If your Gain is too low: 🔴 Weak sound 🔴 No punch 🔴 Poor signal-to-noise ratio
Professional sound engineers know that: 👉 Good sound starts with proper Gain Structure.
