I woke up one morning and told myself I was done looking for a better job and a better opportunity. I told myself, I was going to make use of my skills and create a 9-5 job for myself while being the boss.
I do have a job but I wasn't enjoying it due to so many excuses I have created in my subconscious. Then again, I told myself, you have to learn to either Love or like your job. You have to give your best to your job. And I did take my own advice. Trust me... the past few days have been a happy one for me. Sometimes the things you crave are right within you, just let it out.
If you are dissatisfied with your current circumstances, admit that no one can fix them except for you.
There are three set of people in every job.
1) Those who really love their job due to the benefits, satisfaction and fulfilment their job give them
2) Those who just like their job because of the benefits they get from their job.
3) Those who dislike their job totally but just stay put instead because of the few cash that keeps them paying their bill


Now which are you?
If you're number 3, give yourself a critical test. Ask yourself what exactly do I hate about my job. When you identify it, see if it is something you can change. If you can't change it, I will advise you leave that job or learn to like it. You will never do better in that job and you will always be sad.
My 3rd option which is my favourite and which this post is about is; stay on the job. Use 2 or 3 months of your salary to invest in a side business you're passionate about. Use the time you spend watching TV, chatting with friends or doing irrelevant things to invest in growing your side business. All the happiness you need get it from your side business. When you're getting joy from somewhere else it will affect your job and you might end up liking it. What if you don't? Well, when your business can pay you enough. Then it is time for you to leave that job.
