🎙️ Are you preparing for the TCF Canada exam? Don’t let simple mistakes cost you valuable points in the speaking section!

Here are 3 common mistakes many candidates make — and how YOU can avoid them:

1️⃣ Repeating the same words or expressions
👉 French is rich and expressive. Repetition shows limited vocabulary. Learn synonyms and expressions to say the same thing in different ways.

2️⃣ Answering too briefly or too casually
👉 Avoid “Oui” or “Non” alone. Expand your answers: “Oui, j’aime cuisiner parce que cela me détend après une longue journée.”

3️⃣ Pausing too often or filling gaps with “euhh…”
👉 Pauses are normal, but too many shows lack of confidence. Practice thinking in French, and use fillers like “Eh bien…” or “Alors…” to sound natural.

💡 Tip: Get comfortable speaking French aloud daily. Use mock sessions and record yourself to build fluency.
