Every 17th of September marks the world patient safety day. I bet you didn't know there was anything like that ☺️.

According to WHO, patients safety aims to prevent and reduce risk, errors and harm that occur to patients during provision of healthcare.

The main purpose of this is to promote patient safely by increasing the public awareness, engagement, and enhancing global understanding towards global solidarity and action.

As a patient you should know about your treatment plans.

It is not wrong for you to ask about your treatment options and the risk that may me associated any procedure to be performed on you.

You have a right to know why certain medications are prescribed and the possible side effects.
