Summary of HTML
The meaning of HTML is Hyper Text Mark-Up Language, which implies that they are marks up that are used to represent text on the web page. HTML describes the structure of a web page semantically and originally included cues for the appearance of the document.
HyperText Markup Language (HTML) is a markup language for creating webpages. Webpages are usually viewed in a web browser. They can include writing, links, pictures, and even sound and video. HTML is used to mark and describe each of these kinds of content so the web browser can show them correctly.
HTML TAGS
The tag tells the browser that this is an HTML document.
The tag represents the root of an HTML document.
The tag is the container for all other HTML elements (except for the tag).

HTML tags always comes in pair which makes us to have both the opening and the closing tags example , the end tag is written like the start tag, but it been differentiated with a forward slash inserted before the tag name.
In between the opening and closing tags the text content of the element is been placed, every tag that is been open should be closed, except for rare case where there are some tags that are single example , e.t.c
HTML pages can be created and modified by using HTML editors. However, for learning HTML you can use a simple text editor like Notepad (on the PC) or Sublime text. Using a simple text editor is a good way to learn HTML.

HTML Attributes
Attributes provide additional information about HTML elements.
• All HTML elements can have attributes
• Attributes provide additional information about an element
• Attributes are always specified in the start tag
• Attributes usually come in name/value pairs like: name="value"
The href Attribute
HTML links are defined with the tag. The link address is specified in the href attribute:
The src Attribute
HTML images are defined with the tag.
The filename of the image source is specified in the src attribute
The Id Attributes
The id attribute provides a document-wide unique identifier for an element. It provides a globally unique identifier for the element, typically a sub-section of the page. For example, The boy is moving
The id attribute can be used on any HTML element. The id value is case-sensitive.
The class attributes
The class attribute provides a way of classifying similar elements. This can be used for semantic or presentation purposes. For example, an HTML document might semantically use the designation to indicate that all elements with this class value are subordinate to the main text of the document.
Difference between Class and ID
An HTML element can only have one unique id that belongs to that single element, while a class name can be used by multiple elements.
