Nigeria Defeat Jamaica to Claim Fourth Unity Cup Title

Nigeria’s Super Eagles successfully defended their Unity Cup crown with an emphatic 3-0 victory over Jamaica in Saturday’s final at the Valley Stadium in London.

Alhassan Yusuf starred with two goals, while Terem Moffi added another as the largely experimental Nigerian side delivered an impressive performance to secure a fourth Unity Cup triumph.

The final attracted a respectable crowd despite taking place at the same time as the UEFA Champions League final, with the Super Eagles rewarding supporters with a dominant display and another piece of silverware.

Dangote Petroleum Refinery became the world’s largest exporter of jet fuel in April 2026, according to S&P Global Commodities at Sea data. The milestone reflects the refinery’s growing global reach and Nigeria’s increasing importance in international energy markets.

With operations now at about 650,000 barrels per day and plans to expand further, the refinery is strengthening its position as a major player in global fuel supply and energy trade.
